BUNTU Foundation is a philanthropic organization. She initiated the idea of creating this Foundation, Her Excellency Reverend Denise NKURUNZIZA, after a deep analysis of the context and socioeconomic living conditions of the poor. This Foundation saw the day in November, to be legally registered by the government in December 2005, was named "BUNTU." "BUNTU" is a Kirundi word that at the same time means "with the Sense of Humanity" and "Grace." Such an animal was given to Mrs.NKURUNZIZA Church members, inspired, and thanks to the fact that she empathetically shared the little she had with the poor, even when she was in need.
