The week of September 2 to 9, 2018 was beneficial for the Umusamariya ;Imbabazi Orphanage located at Buye Hill, Mwumba Commune, Ngozi Province. Several occasions of visitors were observed in said orphanage. On
Thursday, September 6, 2018, Her Excellency Rev. Denise Nkurunziza received a team from the Burundi Fortified Food company with a quantity of 400 boxes of porridges, which are fortified cereals for infants.
Mr. Jean Claude Nikondeha, the general manager of this company said that this amount of porridges offered to Umusamariya ;Imbabazi orphanage is a production that is placed on the market the same day. We wanted to
share the premises with the children of this orphanage to seek a divine blessing in our society," said Burundi Fortified Food boss. The next day, it was the turn of Arise and Shine Burundi that makes natural juices. It gave assistance to the First Lady of notebooks and juices for children.
We donated 2% of our proceeds to support the commendable activities of Buntu Foundation said the head of this company. Another delegation came Saturday, September 8, 2018 within reach of multiple gifts including a washing machine and others. This delegation represented the Network of women police in Burundi. General Générose at the
head of the delegation welcomed the efforts of Her Excellency Rev Denise Bucumi Nkurunziza.
She thanked the people who thought about the life of the children of the orphanage. She encouraged Burundians to develop the spirit of mutual aid especially during this period of the beginning of the school year.
